BEDOUIN ADVENTURE 8 DAYS – HIKING THROUGH EGYPT’S SINAI DESERT

On this walking tour we travel to the heart of the Sinai, a land of astonishing variety. From sandstone valleys to granite mountains and fertile oases, we enjoy the subtle beauty of the Sinai Desert. As we walk from camp to camp with our camel caravan we begin to understand the allure of the desert.

ITINERARY

Day 1 Fly to Sharm el Sheikh. Drive to Dahab. Day 2 Mount Sinai Hike to the summit of Mt Sinai, where Moses received the Ten Commandments, in time to watch the sun set over the landscape before descending to the first camp. Days 3/6 Sinai trek Visit St. Catherine’s Monastery and site of the burning bush before starting the trek through south-eastern Sinai. Each night camp ‘Bedouin-style’ under the starry

night sky. Spend nights around the campfire, on which the friendly Bedouin team cook dinner, before telling stories of life in the desert. Arriving back in Dahab there is the option to snorkel in the warm waters of the Red Sea, famous for colourful coral and exotic fish. Day 7 Dahab Free day to try one of the many adventure activities in Dahab: including windsurfing, snorkelling and diving. Day 8 Fly to the UK.
