Exotic wildlife, traditional tribes and beautiful beaches are all part of this unique adventure through Borneo. We visit the world’s largest orang-utan centre in Sepilok and explore the jungle in Mount Kinabalu National Park. Join us on an exhilarating canopy walk through the tree tops and bathe in bubbling hot springs. Teenage departures of this tour include a challenging ascent of mighty Mount Kinabalu.


ITINERARY


Days 1/2 Overnight flight to Kota Kinabalu. Day 3 Manukan Island A free day for relaxing, swimming or snorkelling. Day 4 Orang-utans Visit the world’s largest sanctuary in Sepilok at feeding time. Days 5/6 Sukau Cruise the Kinabatangan River in search of proboscis monkeys and see the bats in the Gomantong Caves. Days 7/8 Tribal longhouse Stay in a traditional longhouse on a tea plantation with spectacular views of Mount Kinabalu. See a blow pipe demonstration, try batik painting and learn the dances of the Rungus tribe. Day 9 Canopy walk Take an exhilarating walk through the tree
