VIVA CUBA 16 DAYS – THE SPIRIT OF CUBA


An action-packed holiday for families with teenage children. We swim in jungle pools, shower in waterfalls and hike along forest trails. We experience the thrill of zip-wiring through the tree-tops and camping out on the verandah of a traditional hacienda in the mountains. From cruising around the vibrant capital city of Havana in a 1950s American car to snorkelling over the coral reefs at Cayo las Grujas, Cuba is the ideal destination for a fun-filled family holiday.


ITINERARY


Day 1 Fly to Havana. Day 2 Old Havana Explore the vibrant streets of Cuba’s capital city in a 1950s American car. Enjoy a lesson in Salsa dancing. Days 3/4 Viñales Discover the lively town of Viñales and explore the dramatic limestone ‘mogote’ scenery. Days 5/6 Jungle Pools Head to Las Terrazas to swim in jungle pools, hike through forest trails or take an optional ‘zip-wire’ through the trees. Days 7/8 Caribbean Coast Visit the infamous Bay of Pigs and take a guided tour of the beautiful colonial town of Trinidad. Optional water- sport activities are available including a


boat excursion. Days 9/10 Mountain Forests Travel to the mountains of Topes de Collantes National Park. Explore this wild area and spend two nights camping in the grounds of a hacienda. Days 11/13 Beach Time Visit Ché Guevara’s Mausoleum at Santa Clara before crossing to the beautiful sandy beaches of Cayo Las Brujas. Swim in the warm turquoise seas. Day 14 Havana Drive back to the capital city. There is time to visit the artisan market for some last minute souvenirs if you wish. Days 15/16 Overnight flight to the UK.
