CRUISE CROATIA 8 DAYS – EXPLORING THE DALMATION COAST
Unwind aboard our chartered ‘Oldtimer’ boat as we cruise through the gemlike islands of the Dalmatian Coast. We discover the heart of Mediterranean life by exploring medieval architecture, relaxing on sandy beaches and visiting ancient villages and vineyards. We will also kayak beneath city walls, cycle through olive groves, explore forests and learn to windsurf.
ITINERARY
Day 1 Fly to Dubrovnik. Settle into cabins on board Oldtimer. Day 2 Sea Kayaking Paddle below the towering city walls of Dubrovnik; one of the finest examples of a fortified medieval town. Cruise to Lopud Island; explore the 15th Century Church of St. Mary. Day 3 Sipan Island Swim in a beautiful shallow cove at Sunj Bay. Cruise to Sipan Island; cycle through olive groves and ancient vineyards. Day 4 Mljet Explore salt-water lakes surrounded by evergreen forests and rare plant life. Visit St. Mary’s Monastery, roam the island on foot or simply relax and swim in the gentle
waters. Day 5 Windsurfing Cruise to the medieval Island of Korcula with its red terracotta roofs, stone cathedral and winding roads. Enjoy a windsurfing lesson. Wander through the Venetian port and enjoy fresh seafood. Day 6 Sandy Beaches Relax on the sandy beaches at the fishing village of Lumbarda. Sail to the village of Trstenik. Day 7 Dubrovnik Cruise to Dubrovnik; approach the towering walls by boat to appreciate their full majesty. Discover Dubrovnik’s walls and twisting alleyways by foot. Day 8 Fly to the UK.
