Balance: only balance the total columns. Add up both sides to get your total. The balance goes on the smallest side. Enter balance c/d = €400 and totals are €1,120. Bring balance down on the opposite side underneath the total figure. 01 Jul Balance b/d = €400 It’s on the credit side.
