2 Rights and Responsibilities of Employees and Employers
Rights
Rights are what every human being is worthy of or entitled to, no matter who they are or what part of the world they are from. Some rights include the right to education, food, clothing and freedom of speech. Because we are in the European Union we have the right to live and work in EU counties.
We have already studied the rights of consumers in Strand 1.
Responsibilities
A responsibility is a duty that you need to/are required to have. It is something that affects not only our lives but the lives of others. Some of our responsibilities are to follow the rules at home, at school and in the community.
We have already studied the responsibilities of consumers in Strand 1.
