UNIT 7 The Consumer Commission for Regulation of Utilities (CRU)
Deals with complaints by consumers against energy providers that supply electricity, e.g. Airtricity or Electric Ireland, gas (Bord Gáis) and water (Irish Water).
Consumers will complain to the relevant company first. If they cannot resolve it with them, they can contact the CRU.
State each organisation which helps the consumer. Explain each using examples. Apply it to another unit.

4 Ethical and Sustainable Consumption
Being ethical means understanding what is right and wrong. It means having a developed set of moral principles.
When consuming goods and services, a consumer has a responsibility to buy items that are ethically made. A consumer should ask themselves some questions when purchasing, especially if the price is very low.
