The analysed cash book (ACB) is completed by both households and businesses. It is similar to the cash book but has extra headings to further classify income and expenditure. To analyse something means to break it down into parts. Figures are entered twice – once in the total/bank or cash column and again in the appropriate column, e.g. wages will be entered into the total column and the ‘wages’ column.
Some headings will remain the same for every analysed cash book but some will change depending on the information given.
