Tips for Exam Success At the beginning of the exam:
1. Take time to read the cover page of the exam paper. This will remind you of the amount of time you have to complete the exam and will also settle you.
2. Read the instructions on the second page, again to refresh yourself. 3. Fill in your calculator make and model in the box provided on the second page.
Important tips for answering questions • You must answer all questions in both sections. • The exam paper must be answered in blue or black pen. • A pencil may be used for graphs and diagrams.
• Answers must be written inside the boxes provided. The exam booklet will be scanned to be corrected. Anything outside the boxes provided may not be scanned and therefore equals take over marks.
• Read questions carefully and answer what is being asked. • Use the BUG technique.
