I am writing to you in relation to a pair of jeans I bought in your store on 28 July 2022.
‘Dear …’ – the name of who the email is to
On putting the jeans on for the first time, they ripped along the seams. On further inspection I noticed that the seams are loose. Under the Sale of Goods and Supply of Services Act 1980, the jeans are not of merchantable quality.
I would like a refund of €55 (the cost of the jeans). I am attaching a copy of the receipt as proof of purchase.
Yours sincerely, Kyle Gallagher
