Exercise 16A Reflecting on my presentation Key Skills
Success criteria
I can identify strengths and areas for improvement in my presentation.
In this lesson, you will make your presentation to the class. When preparing, remember the following: ● Practise the presentation before delivering it in front of the class. Begin by reading it aloud, then
practise it while standing, then make the presentation to yourself in front of a mirror or to your family.
● Keep a copy of your presentation in front of you to help you, but refer to it only if you get stuck. ● Note the pronunciation of key words, spelling them phonetically in your notes, for example, Uyghur is pronounced oy guh.
● Speak slowly. Sometimes people rush a presentation and the audience cannot understand them. ● Allow time for questions at the end of the presentation.
