I can identify diff erences in achieving the SDGs by looking at maps and charts.
In 2015, the UN General Assembly set the sustainable development goals (SDGs). These are 17 interdependent aims to bring about a better and more sustainable future by 2030. The goals are based on the idea that improving areas like education, economic growth and climate change must be interlinked.
Each goal has several targets, which are monitored by the UN Division for Sustainable Development Goals (DSDG). All governments must implement these goals in their country. The following map from 2020 shows progress on climate action (Goal 13) in diff erent countries.
