I can name online consumption and contributions that I engage in.
When we use the internet we can contribute, which means we give something. An example of this would be posting a recipe online. This contributes something as other people can use the recipe. We also consume, which means we take things from the internet. For example, if we want to learn how to bake a chocolate cake, we can look for a recipe online. Without people both contributing and consuming, the internet will not work. There is no point looking for information if nobody posts it, and equally there is no point in posting information if nobody uses it.
