1. Shane is 12 and has started mowing lawns for people in his town to save money for his school tour next year. His mother is worried that he is mowing lawns for people she does not know.
3. Sally is 22 and has been taking drugs for the past few years. She lives with a group of friends in the city. When she runs out of money, she goes home to her father. He gives her money because he is afraid of what will happen to her if he refuses.
2. Liam is 15 and preparing for his exams at the end of the year. It is hard to get time to study as his dad expects him to spend every Saturday and Sunday working on the farm.
4. Joseph and his family came to Ireland from the Republic of the Congo. Joseph’s parents do not speak English.
