Having completed Strand 1, consider organisations you have studied or that you are aware of that work to promote human rights or human dignity such as Amnesty International, Focus Ireland or Trócaire. As a class decide which organisation you would like to support by organising a fundraiser. You can put forward proposals and explain why you would like to support the organisation and the class can vote on who to support. Then decide on the type of fundraiser you would like to organise, for example a bake sale, a raffl e or a sponsored walk.
