Power means having control or infl uence over others. There are several types of power: ● Economic power involves money and wealth. For example, people in charge of companies control a lot of wealth, which gives them power.
● The power of celebrity: celebrities or sports stars are well known, so their opinions can infl uence others.
● Political power allows a person or an organisation to make laws, raise taxes or give grants and money. ● Military power gives a person or organisation the power to use soldiers and weapons.
