Possible answers
Some verbs, like give and provide, are interchangeable. Allow for small differences like that. These are some example answers: This nurse provides medical care to babies, children and teenagers. This activity focuses on nursing jobs again. Students could make a poster here, to be displayed in class, illustrating and analyzing the different jobs they can think of.

There are many other types of nurse. A few examples are: general medicine nurse, emergency room nurse, flight nurse, neonatal nurse, forensic nurse, occupational health nurse, triage nurse.
Study skill: Using a dictionary (1)
Ask students if they have dictionaries. They may of course have traditional paper ones, or Kindle, phone or tablet apps. Some students may not realize there are English–English dictionaries, as well as translation dictionaries.
Focus on the extract from an English–English dictionary. Elicit the definitions of the word exercise and then the example sentence. Check students can locate the parts of speech in the definitions and elicit what (v) and (n) stand for.
Explain that this is one way a dictionary can help with grammar. Dictionaries can also help with pronunciation, and some online dictionaries provide an audio of the word. Point out the phonetic characters next to the headword, but do not go into detail, other than to say that this is an international way of representing sounds.
The activity in the box consolidates some of the vocabulary from this lesson. Students use English– English dictionaries (if they have them) to check their ideas. Elicit answers and encourage students to put all the words in a table, as shown in the answers.
Finally, ask students to make their own sentences using some of the words.
