30 NYSCC SUPPLIERS’ DAY PREVIEW
high slip and glide, rich payoff, and exceptional compressibility – extend seamlessly to skin care and colour cosmetics. In skin care, Entropic imparts a sophisticated,
velvety, lightweight feel with reduced drag. In colour, its smooth application and strong compaction elevate lip & cheek sticks, mascaras, loose and pressed powders, and foundations with excellent payoff and drop test performance. These benefits also support potential use in hair care, deodorants, and other formats.
European beauty biotech developer Kokuma (1875) will present Tonasulike-D, a next- generation depigmenting active developed through advances in skin tone biology. Effective at an ultra-low concentration of 0.01%, Tonasulike-D delivers rapid depigmentation and progressive brightening with a strong safety profile. In a 12-week randomized controlled clinical
study with 60 volunteers, visible improvements were observed from Day 21 across multiple skin tones. Key outcomes included 95% of dark spots visibly lighter in 21 days; up to 24% increase in ITA skin tone index; and 100% of participants showing improved pigmentation and brightness by week 8. Tonasulike-D operates through a dual
mechanism within the pigmentation pathway, combining modulation of melanin synthesis with inhibition of pigment transfer to keratinocytes. The ingredient is odourless, white, stable, and formulation-ready for applications including serums, creams, and body care.
Kosmetikon (114) will introduce Labify, a digital platform developed by cosmetic professionals to support the full lifecycle of cosmetic product development. Labify brings together all project
information, from the initial brief to formulation, documentation, and manufacturing follow-up, within one integrated workspace. Designed specifically for the cosmetics industry, the platform helps R&D and regulatory teams manage data efficiently while maintaining full traceability throughout the development process. The software integrates worldwide cosmetic
compliance requirements and includes a large database of cosmetic raw materials. Labify also leverages AI to help structure data, support formulation decisions, and streamline regulatory and technical workflows. By centralizing formulation, regulatory, and project data, Labify aims to simplify collaboration and accelerate the path from concept to finished cosmetic product.
Koster Keunen (1763) will unveil several innovations that continue its long-standing commitment to high-performance natural wax ingredients for the personal care industry. Leading the launch is Kester K-45, a new solid ester designed to deliver structure, elegant texture, and improved stability in modern cosmetic formulations. To support its introduction, Koster Keunen
will also be presenting clinical study results along with six new skin care prototype formulations that highlight the versatility and sensory benefits of this ingredient across a range of applications. In colour cosmetics, Koster Kuenen is
expanding its work with Kester Wax K-70P, its natural plasticizer that bridges performance between traditional wax structuring agents and flexible film formers. New studies will showcase how K-70P enables flowable colour cosmetic systems, improving spreadability, flexibility, and payoff while maintaining stability.

LipoTrue (857) will take the wraps off WaspSilk, a biomimetic peptide inspired by the remarkable architecture of spider lifeline silk, designed to reinforce both the strength and elasticity of skin and hair. Drawing from the dual performance of major ampullate spidroins—proteins known for combining tensile resistance with flexible resilience—WaspSilk helps recreate this balance within human tissue. By boosting key structural proteins such as
cytokeratin and keratins, it supports regeneration and enhances the cohesion of the skin’s framework. At the same time, it promotes healthier collagen synthesis and organization through matricellular regulators like SPARC, contributing to firmer, smoother, and more resilient skin. Beyond structural reinforcement, WaspSilk
improves the skin’s elastic behaviour by strengthening dermal organization, helping reduce wrinkles and supporting a more defined facial contour. Its benefits extend to hair as well, increasing elasticity, resistance, and overall vitality while contributing to a healthier scalp environment. Through this dual action—tensile strength and elastic recovery—WaspSilk delivers a comprehensive approach to rejuvenation, offering visible improvements in firmness, smoothness, and resilience for both skin and hair.
MMP Inc. (1841) will be showcasing its newest addition, Flav’ential BLM, which delivers a range of multifunctional benefits including natural UV absorption across the 240–400 nm range, complementing traditional UV filters. It also offers potent antioxidant performance of 36 µM, outperforming Vitamin
with an IC50
C in free radical scavenging; anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial activity through phenolic
ZnO BLM Sunscreen SPF 30, highlighting: Flav’ential BLM included as a natural UV absorber and free radical scavenger to elevate SPF performance; Vercarem P3P and Sisterna SP10-C for a stable PEG free water in oil emulsion; and Vercatech Capyrforce ECO, a 100% natural multifunctional broad-spectrum preservative that is gentle on the skin.
Nature Coatings (2472) will unveil BioBlack Beauty BX, a 30% waterborne bio carbon pigment dispersion, meets the deepest black colour needs used in the cosmetic industry. Made from industrial wood waste, the vibrant black is perfect for mascaras, liquid eyeliners, and other cosmetic products. It is easy to use, compatible with other black
pigments, and it can replace carbon black or black 2 dispersions. BioBlack Beauty BX is non-nano, has a negative carbon footprint, is vegan, and is globally compliant.
Naolys (2207) will introduce Global Firm Perfection (Hibiscus), its latest biotech ingredient exploring the emerging link between inflammaging and skin structural decline. Powered by Naolys’ proprietary Sister Cells
technology, the active brings together two complementary hibiscus cell strains to unlock botanical synergy. Inspired by the resilience and phytochemical richness of these plants, Firm Perfection (Hibiscus)2
recognised as a fundamental driver of skin ageing, Firm Perfection (Hibiscus)2
helps support the biological
coordination that underpins skin firmness. At a time when inflammaging is increasingly
invites brands
to rethink skin performance from within, by supporting the biological harmony that underpins skin structure, resilience and visible firmness. Developed through Naolys’ patented plant
cell biotechnology, this innovation illustrates a growing shift in skin care science: restoring the biological environment that allows the skin to organise, repair and perform.
