Accommodation: 16 nights basic camping, 4 nights standard hotel. Meals: 20 breakfasts, 16 lunches, 16 dinners are included. Tour staff: Explore Tour Leader, driver(s), local guide(s), porter(s), trek crew. Transport: Bus. Trekking details: This is a 15-day trek with between 6 and 7 hours of walking a day. We reach a maximum altitude of 5213m where we may encounter snow all year round. Group size: Generally 10 - 16. Minimum age: 16.


A challenging trek exploring the Tibetan infl uenced Manaslu region


This trek makes a circuit around the unspoilt massif of Manaslu - the world’s 8th highest mountain at 8163m. Following old trade routes in the shadow of the Himalaya, we trek past hillside villages and Buddhist monasteries. We experience the rich Tibetan culture of the remote Buri Gandaki Valley and join the eastern half of the famous Annapurna Circuit for the fi nal days of the trek.


21 day tour itinerary


Day 1 Join tour in Kathmandu. Day 2 Kathmandu Enjoy a walking tour in the old city before a full trek briefi ng. Day 3 Soti Khola Drive from Kathmandu to the land of the ‘Honey Hunters’. Day 4 Trek begins Follow the banks of the Buri Gandaki north to Machha Khola. Days 5/10 Villages and monasteries Visit hill-top communities and Buddhist monasteries on the way to Birendra
