A long weekend ascent to the summit of Mount Toubkal
On this short trip we focus on climbing to the summit of North Africa’s highest peak, Jebel Toubkal (4167 metres). We travel from the ancient walled city of Marrakech to the High Atlas Mountains, enjoying traditional Berber hospitality as we make our ascent. From the peak we have panoramic views across the entire Atlas chain.

Accommodation: 1 night basic camping, 1 night basic village house, 2 nights standard hotel Meals: 4 breakfasts, 2 lunches, 2 dinners are included. Tour staff: Explore Tour Leader, cook driver(s), trek crew. Transport: Minibus. Trekking details: This is a 2-day trek with 4 to 5 hours walking on the fi rst day and 11 to 13 hours walking on the second day. There is also a short walk on the third day. We reach a maximum altitude of 4167m. Mules carry the luggage. Group size: Generally 10 - 16.
