Join us on this trekking trip from the Atlas Mountains to the mighty Sahara Desert. Hike through canyons, kasbahs and gorges in the highest mountains of North Africa and experience the local Berber hospitality, as you spend the night in a traditional village house. Enjoy the silence and peace of the immense desert while sleeping under the stars in a nomad tent. From fertile oasis, rock formations and majestic sand dunes, the Sahara Desert offers a captivating, ever-changing landscape, providing the ideal setting for your next trekking adventure.
11 day tour itinerary
Day 1 Join tour in Marrakech Day 2 Bou Tharar Drive to Bou Tharar (1600m) through the Dades Valley and enter the Valley of the Roses from El Kelaa Mgouna; short orientation walk. Day 3 Alemdoun Hike along the Valley of the Roses into the Ait Ahmed Valley to Alemdoun (1800m) passing through typical Berber villages and fertile fi elds. Day 4 Aguerzeka After a gradual ascent to a mountain pass (1950m), hike to the village of Aguerzeka,

Marrakech Bou Tharar
at the border of the Mgoun River. Day 5 Tamgalouna A scenic hike through the Mgoun Gorge to the small Berber town of Tamgalouna. Day 6 Erg Chebbi After a short hike back to Bou Tharar, we transfer to the starting point of our desert trek; short walk to the fi rst desert camp. Day 7 Tamerdanite Scenic walk through the majestic sand dunes of Erg Chebbi. Day 8 Erg Znaigui Traversing a fl at, stony area we head into a small valley and to the dunes of
Alemdoun Aguerzga Tamgalouna
Erg Znaigui. Day 9 Skoura Short hike back to the starting point, then transfer to Skoura via Merzouga and the Dades Valley. Hike in the oasis town of Skoura. Day 10 Marrakech Transfer to the Red City; day at leisure to explore the souks and the Djemma El Fna Square. Day 11 Tour ends in Marrakech.
