Discover a world of breathtaking mountain peaks on this exciting expedition to the vast natural amphitheatre of the Annapurna Sanctuary. Leaving the foothills behind we pass under the great bulk of Machhapuchhre and spend two nights at Base Camp. After the trek take time to explore the lakeside town of Pokhara and busy streets of Kathmandu.
15 day tour itinerary
Day 1 Join tour in Kathmandu. Day 2 Kathmandu Morning trek briefi ng. Walk around the city’s colourful bazaars and temples. Days 3/5 Begin trek Drive to the lakeside town of Pokhara, the hub for treks in the Annapurna region. Trek through forests and terraces to Chhomrong (2060m). Days 6/7 ‘Fishtail’ views Steep climb to the ridge at Sinuwa for fi ne views of Machhapuchhre, the ‘Fishtail’

mountain. Continue ascent to Dovan for the night. Trek through bamboo to Hinku Cave and on to Deurali. Days 8/9 Machhapuchhre Base Camp Enter the Sanctuary ‘gates’ between Machhapuchhre and Huinchuli and trek to Base Camp (3720m). Hike to Annapurna Base Camp (4130m) for views of the glacier. Day 10 Bamboo Leave Base Camp and descend to the village of Bamboo. Day 11 Steep Descent Descend to cross the
