Corfu is one of the most beautiful Greek islands and on this walking holiday we explore the southern part of the island. We visit ancient villages framed by vineyards, walk through shady olive groves and relax in riverside tavernas. We also climb Agii Deka, the island’s second highest mountain, and enjoy spectacular views of the Mediterranean.


8 day tour itinerary


Day 1 Join tour Corfu Town. Day 2 Corfu Trail Drive to Kavos, the island’s southernmost tip and the start of the Corfu Trail. Walk via Arkoudillas Monastery to Spartera. Day 3 Lefkimmi and Santa Barbara Walk through the Gardeno Valley and along beautiful coastal paths to Lefkimmi, then on to Santa Barbara. There is the option to stop along the way in riverside tavernas. Day 4 Lake Korission Walk a long go lden sa nds to th e l ake a nd o n to Paramonas. Day 5 Komianata Hike through the villages of Ano and Kato Pavliana

Day 2: 3.5hrs Spartera


to Komianata. Drive to Benitses. Day 6 Mountain views Walk to the hamlet of Pelekas along a footpath skirting Agii Deka Mountain. Climb to the summit (576m) where there is an abandoned monastery inside a walled garden. Optional walk to Kaiser’s Throne viewpoint at sunset. Day 7 Liapades Beach Descend via Myrtiotissa to Liapades, an ancient village. Day 8 Tour ends Liapades Beach.
