Scenic walking where the Alps meet the sea
Enjoy a week of superb scenic walking whilst based in Menton, a lovely laid- back town on the French Riviera where the steep foothills of the Alps meet the azure waters of the Mediterranean. We discover pretty villages perched on coastal cliffs and hike in the mountains of the Mercantour Alps inland near Sospel. We also venture into Italy for a day to explore the historic town of Ventimiglia.

Day 1 Join tour Nice airport; transfer to our hotel for the week in Menton on the French Riviera. Day 2 Cap Martin Peninsula Walk around the peninsula through the perched village of Roquebrune Cap Martin enjoying spectacular coastal views. Day 3 Mercantour Alps Inland walk from the mountain village of Sospel at the border of the Mercantour National Park. Day 4 Castellar A circular walk from the small village of Castellar with views across the Italian and French Riviera. Day 5 Nice or Monaco A

free day to explore Menton old town or venture further afi eld to Nice or Monaco. Day 6 Italian Riviera Drive across the border to Ventimiglia in Italy. Walking in the old medieval town and visit the Friday market. Day 7 Sainte Agnes Walk from Gorbio to the picturesque village of Sainte Agnes and enjoy stunning Mediterranean views. Day 8 Transfer to Nice airport where tour ends.
