Explore one of the most unspoilt regions of the Mediterranean on this walking tour through North Cyprus’ beautiful Besparmak Mountains. We follow quiet, fl ower-rich mountain trails, leading to imposing Crusader castles, with stunning cobalt-sea backdrops. In Kyrenia, we explore the picturesque harbour front and narrow cobbled backstreets. Every evening we return to our hotel to relax by the pool, or enjoy delicious, locally-grown food in nearby restaurants.
8 day tour itinerary
Day 1 Join tour Bellapais near Kyrenia. Day 2 Besparmak Mountains Walk to Lawrence Durrell’s house and Bellapais Abbey. Opportunity to explore Kyrenia. Option to visit Kyrenia Castle and Museum. Day 3 Buffavento Castle Walk from Buffavento Castle to North Cyprus’ highest point. Descend through the mountains to the Armenian Monastery, Panayia Plataniotissa, and the Herbarium at Alevkaya. Day 4 Kantara Castle and Kaplica Beach Visit Incirli Cave and the Crusader castle of Kantara before

Bellapais Abbey Bellapais Monastery Village
Bellapais Monastery Village Hotel is located in the foothills of the Besparmak Mountains, within walking distance of Bellapais village and the abbey. With two outdoor swimming pools and a roof terrace there is a lot of space to relax outside and enjoy the sea views. From here it is also easy to discover nearby Bellapais, or take the courtesy bus into Kyrenia to explore the harbour, castle and narrow backstreets.
