Once we have confi rmed your booking we guarantee that the price won’t change.
Unlike most other travel companies, we won’t pass on any unexpected aviation, fuel or currency exchange surcharges once your booking is confi rmed.
Flexible Flight Options
If you want to book a fl ight inclusive tour with Explore, we are delighted to be able to offer you a range of competitive and fl exible fl ight options. Flight inclusive packages booked with Explore are fully bonded. We will manage any changes required in the event of any tour or airline schedule amendments after you have booked. If you choose to book your own fl ights you are responsible for the associated costs of any changes.
R 1. Group Flights
For many tours we hold a group of seats on our group fl ight. The fl ights fi t exactly with the date of departure and return. Our fl ight inclusive price includes these competitively priced fl ights. They usually depart from London and may offer limited regional connections. When you travel on a group fl ight you pay only the deposit for your tour at the time of booking and we manage any changes.
2. Contract Flights
For tours where we do not hold group fl ights, we use specially negotiated rates with preferred airline partners. These fares are competitive and are also suitable if you are extending your stay before or after your tour. There are two types of contract fare, one where you pay no additional deposit at the time of booking and the other where the best available fare is based upon payment of a deposit which will usually be higher than the normal tour deposit.
3. Market Rate Flights Transfers Included
We are pleased to be able to include your transfers to and from your destination airport for all our walking and trekking holidays (except self-guided), where your arrival and departure dates coincide with that of the start and end day of your tour. So whether you book your own fl ights or book them through Explore, you can arrive at your destination safe in the knowledge that you will be transferred to the start point of your tour. Please go to

We will seek to match the best fares available in the open market. These fl uctuate on a daily basis and are almost exclusively based upon a non-refundable pre-payment. This type of fare includes low cost carriers like Easyjet where the rates available are based upon instant booking with the airline and payment of the full fare.
For each of the above options, Explore charge a small administration fee. Once you have booked a fl ight with us as part of your tour, we are normally responsible for managing any changes that might affect your fl ight.
4. Booking your own fl ights:
You may prefer to book just the tour with Explore and book your own fl ights. You may get the best available fl ight price, but we would like to make you aware of the responsibilities that this carries.
Trusted and protected
The air holiday packages in this brochure are ATOL protected, since we hold an Air Travel Organiser’s Licence. Granted by the Civil Aviation Authority. Our ATOL number is ATOL 2595. In addition Explore Worldwide Ltd is fully bonded by ABTOT (Association of Bonded Travel Organisations Trust) for your fi nancial protection of all other holiday packages.
■ Your fl ight ticket cost is not necessarily bonded in the event of either airline failure or the failure of the travel agent you booked it through. You will usually have to pay in full at time of booking.
■ In the event that your tour is amended or cancelled, you will be liable for the cost of your fl ight which may have limited, or no refund value.
■ If you are planning to book ‘Land Only’ we strongly recommend that you only purchase fl ights (or other associated travel services) that are totally fl exible and refundable.
