On this walking tour of Western Cuba we experience local hospitality whilst staying in family-run guesthouses, and hike through some of Cuba’s best natural tropical reserves. We also discover the glamorous past of Old Havana, and the lively musical nightlife of colonial Trinidad. As we travel we learn about modern day Cuba and its complex past, culminating in a visit to the mausoleum of the national hero Che Guevara.


8 day tour itinerary


Day 1 Join tour in Havana. Stay in casas particulares (local guest houses). Day 2 Las Terrazas Drive to Las Terrazas and walk in the nature reserve. Option to swim in natural swimming pools. Continue to Vinales where we stay in casas particulares. Day 3 Vinales Morning hike amongst the characteristic limestone landscape (mogotes). Learn about local tobacco growing and cigar making.
