C Preservatives Procedure


Phase A: Disperse Eusolex® T-S in the given emollients and emulsifiers by


using a dissolver stirrer. When the pigment is well dispersed (check via microscope) , add magnesiumstearate and wax and heat to 80°C. Combine ingredients of phase B in a separate vessel and heat to 75°C. Add phase B to A slowly while stirring and homogenize. Cool down to 40°C while slowly stirring and add phase C. Homogenize again with a closed-anchor agitator for 1 minute at 1200 rpm. Cool down to room temperature.
