is fully protected and hydrated while offering antioxidant benefits, meaning it soothes skin, absorbs well, and has an excellent sensorial touch. For those interested in speeding up their

daily production of emulsions while limiting the number of ingredients in stock, Nadine Krug, senior application technologist EAME, Cosmetic Ingredient Division at Symrise AG, will lead a session on creating your sun protection formula in a very easy way. In simple steps, she will demonstrate different emulsions inviting audience participants to decide which emollients and SPF to use for their finished blends.

Training sessions with Formula Botanica

For the first time, in-cosmetics Global will partner with Formula Botanica as this year’s official Indie Beauty Partner, offering exciting natural formulation workshops and celebrating all things indie beauty. Formula Botanica – the world’s largest online formulation school - has trained thousands of organic formulators and entrepreneurs to start or grow their own indie beauty brand in over 150 countries. Timi Racz, head of research & formulation at Formula Botanica, will lead three sessions in the Formulation Lab. The first workshop will consider the next generation of makeup, with attendees learning how to formulate a cream to powder blusher using the power of plant pigments. This unique yet easily achievable transforming texture will inspire their natural make up formulations.

Another session will look at zero waste

formulation, with attendees formulating a natural, multi-purpose cleansing bar. In this workshop, Timi will discuss an eco-friendly approach to skin and hair cleansing products, helping attendees get familiar with the must-have components of a multitasking solid cleansing bar and delving into the secrets of personalising these products for customers.

The final session will teach participants about superfoods for organic skin care and how you can harvest the benefits of these superb plants. In the session, attendees will make an organic superfood jelly face mask that helps with moisturisation. Roziani Zulkifli, exhibition director, commented “The ever-changing world of formulation is always a primary focus of in- cosmetics. As well as showcasing innovative ingredients, we’re delighted to be able to offer R&D professionals a unique platform and opportunity get hands-on with the latest ingredients and technology, enabling the development of the next wave of cosmetic and personal care products.” For more information on the
