QUALIFICATION PROGRAMMES

Our learning and development (L&D) qualification programmes range from basic trainer to advanced consultant skills. Each programme is organisational L&D accredited by a prestigious organisation, enjoys very high success rates and is contextualised to the public sector.

Qualifications include:

Starting off with basic trainer skills Foundation Certificate in Staff Development or Certificate in Training and Occupational Learning. Both accredited by the Institute of Training and Occupational Learning (ITOL)

Getting fully qualified as a trainer Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development Certificate in Training Practice

Advancing as an L&D manager/consultant Masters in Organisational Learning and Development. Accredited by Kingston University

Foundation Certificate in Staff Development

Accredited by the Institute of Training and Occupational Learning (ITOL)

Gain entry into the Institute of Training and Occupational Learning (ITOL) as an Associate Member. You will be able to assemble and deliver sound, effective basic training sessions and events and get a solid foundation from which you can progress onto specialist trainer and learning and development programmes.

Certificate in Training and Occupational Learning

Accredited by the Institute of Training and Occupational Learning (ITOL)

This qualification provides trainers with a broader range of knowledge and skills in order to operate as a rounded professional in the workplace. There will be further opportunities for skill development, as well as the acquisition of key models and frameworks of relevance to the professional trainer who is gaining influence in his or her organisation. The Certificate will enable those employed in training, assessment or vocational education to gain entry into the Institute of Training and Occupational Learning (ITOL) as a full Member.

Continuing Professional Development Certificates in Learning and Development

We offer a range of continuing professional development (CPD) certificates for those working in learning, development and training. Certificates cover areas such as psychology, facilitation, training delivery and leading learning and development (L&D). To get your certificate just attend two modules, apply your learning back at work and evidence this on one short form.

CIPD Certificate in Training Practice

The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) Certificate in Training Practice (CTP) is an essential foundation qualification for anyone working in Learning

and Development (L&D). As well as trainers, internal consultants and those designing and evaluating development opportunities in organisations, it is also intended for training administrators seeking a broader understanding of the principles of training and development and those aspiring to a career in the specialism. The programme comprises five modules and an induction session, totalling 121⁄2 days, at our Sunningdale Park residential or London facilities. Additional e-learning modules, reading and assignment work is also required. Complete the programme in a single year or take up to two years. Take the package price of £5,620 or pay as you go. The National School’s programme offers extensive skills practise, lots of participation, personal support, a great learning environment and direct exposure to best practice.
