Finance Skills for All is a joint initiative between the National School and HM Treasury. It provides the foundation and advanced levels of the Professional Skills for Government (PSG) financial management core skill.
It’s free of charge, foundation-level e-learning scheme comprising 10 modules, that can be completed in eight hours by anyone in the
Civil Service. It is recommended for all Civil Service staff.

Analysis and Use of Evidence (for those aspiring to Grade 7 or above)

For those wanting a practical introduction to all aspects of analysis and use of evidence required at Civil Service Grade 7 and above. The programme offers a mix of case studies, practitioner input and individual work covering sources of evidence, assessing the validity of evidence, using evidence to evaluate and working with experts to analyse and communicate results. The programme is designed for those who do not have an analytical background.
