ADMINISTRATIVE LAW TRAINING

The administrative law training group has devised a structured series of programmes, held in London, which are intended to build on knowledge acquired at the induction stage or gained through experience.

For those wanting to know more about the constitution, government machinery, judicial review and the way that money comes in and out of government, there is a four moduled structured programme of half-day and one-day programmes. It is not essential to take each module in turn, though it may be better to do so.

We also run two-day (non-residential) programmes on human rights, devolution and information law, delivered by leading academics and practising government lawyers.

The annual administrative law conference also provides an opportunity to update legal knowledge and network with colleagues.

The Modern Constitution

Administrative law structured programme (Module 1)

Designed to form part of the Government Legal Service (GLS) administrative law training committee’s structured programme on administration law, this half-day programme looks at the distinctive features of the modern constitution, in the context of a government lawyer’s daily work.

This programme is run on demand.
