The New Inn is an historic inn dating from 1743, awash with inglenook fireplaces, flagstone floors, original low-beamed ceilings and boasting bags of character. This excellent pub has a fine reputation for its culinary offerings, having been featured in plenty of yachting journals and coffee-table magazines, and with many accreditations to its name. Due to The New Inn’s location, close to Newtown Estuary, seafood is in plentiful supply and fish dishes have become a speciality. Daily specials are chalked on boards and local produce is proudly used. The standard menu features a variety of pub favourites, ploughman’s, salads and steaks. Four real ales are on draught and the wide-ranging 60-bin wine list includes around ten by the glass. Due to the popularity of the pub, table reservations are highly recommended, especially at busy times.
