 Location 57-59 Brookley Road, Brockenhurst, SO42 7RB t: 0844 683 6478 w: www.dynastycuisine.co.uk e: info@dynastycuisine.co.uk

This popular restaurant has been serving one of the nation’s favourite cuisines to diners in the New Forest area for over 21 years. Offering a beguiling mix of quality service, exquisite food and excellent value, it comes as little surprise that this eatery is still going strong after so many years. The contemporary interior is sumptuous, warm and inviting, featuring impressive hand-carved wooden pillars, gleaming mirrors from India and glowing lamps from Nepal. Thoughtfully laid- out and spacious, there are comfortable booths for groups as well as intimate tables for couples.

Enticing aromas waft from the kitchen as the restaurant manager guides you through the extensive menu, offering his expert recommendations. It was clear from the first bite that using the best local suppliers and the freshest ingredients is paramount here – the mixed kebab starter was delicately and deeply spiced, and the prawn pathia puri was a sumptuous blend of intense flavours.

Traditional favourites on the menu work alongside exciting chef’s special selections. The fresh king prawn balti is a classic dish of high quality, and the murgh noorjehani is an inspiring combination of succulent chicken, minced lamb, heady spices, cream and fresh coriander. Exotic desserts like mango or pistachio kulfi are light and creamy – the perfect way to cleanse the palate. With its great location and food to match, a return to Dynasty is an absolute certainty.

...aromatic fare found across India...’

We began by sampling crisp poppadoms with a variety of moreish chutneys, before enjoying light samosas filled with tender meat and a succulent mixed kebab served fresh from a sizzling hotplate – a feast of starters packed with a host of well-balanced herbs and spices. After such an exquisite beginning, we had high hopes for our mains and they more than lived up to expectations – my partner declared his korma to be the best he had ever tasted, and nothing could distract me from my melt-in-the- mouth garlic chicken served with fluffy pilau rice.

To top off the evening, tangy lemon sorbet (served in the skin) and a silky caramel parfait arrived at our table – both were indulgent yet pleasingly light. We left convinced that Bengal Forest provides the perfect combination of a homely welcome and flavourful food – we’ll certainly be recommending this lovely eatery (which also offers dishes to take away) to our friends and family.
