Lugleys of Cowes is the sister restaurant to the renowned Lugleys of Newport, but by no means is it the poor relation. This chic yet classic restaurant is situated beneath the Art Deco-style Osborne Court on The Parade at Cowes, and directly overlooks the Solent and mainland Britain. Lugleys is an all-year-round favourite for sailing fans – indeed, when it comes to the Cowes Week regatta, there’s no better place to be for a laid-back glimpse of Cowes sailing life.

The restaurant opens for coffee and pastries at 10am, and moves seamlessly into a relaxed lunchtime service, while always retaining the aura of a fine-dining restaurant. Once afternoon teas have been served the restaurant transforms, becoming the elegant restaurant that it really is – complete with candlelit tables and mood lighting. Live music adds to the atmosphere on Friday and Saturday nights.
