(linked to ceramide content) were quantitatively assessed. This approach was utilized to evaluate and demonstrate the efficacy of the active ingredient in improving the cohesion of the upper layers of the epidermis and restoring


the skin’s natural barrier function. To further confirm the ingredient’s role in supporting the skin’s ability to synthesize its own ceramides, a controlled delipidation process was applied on day 6 (D6) of the


study. The results showed a significant and measurable increase in ceramide levels 24 hours after the delipidation, attributable to the topical application of the active ingredient. Additionally, an evaluation was conducted
