Coptis appoints Roland de Heere chief executive


French cosmetic formulation and regulatory software provider Coptis has appointed Roland de Heere as chief executive officer. De Heere brings over a decade


of experience in leadership, strategic planning, and operational management across multiple industries. Prior to joining Coptis, de


Heere was the Paris-based chief operating officer of on-demand delivery digital platform provider Redspher. He was also chief executive


officer of Paris e-commerce and logistics player Upela. Coptis said de Heere’s “deep understanding of technology,


customer-centric approaches, and operational excellence” positions him to lead Coptis into a “new era, strengthening its impact on the cosmetics industry through cutting- edge solutions.”


De Heere added: “In 2025,


our goal is to strengthen our commitment to our customers. We aspire for Coptis to be more than just a tool – a true partner in optimizing your R&D processes. “Our ambition is to provide


cosmetic laboratories with solutions that save time, reduce constraints, and allow you to focus on what matters most, innovation. “Together, we will continue to push boundaries and write this inspiring story, overcoming every challenge the future holds.” De Heere takes over from


Jonathan Coeur, who assumed the role of deputy chief executive officer in 2021.


Iberchem hires head of commercia


Iberchem has appointed Sara Saad as its new commercial director. Saad will integrate her current


responsibilities in customer service and logistics while implementing Iberchem’s commercial strategy. Saad holds a degree in


Journalism and Communication from the American University of Beirut and is fluent in five languages. With over ten years of


experience in the fragrance and flavour (F&F) industry, she has developed a successful career at Iberchem. In 2021, she joined Iberchem’s


Leadership Team and has played a crucial role in planning and executing the company’s strategic initiatives since then.


Barentz names regional CEO for South America


Dutch speciality ingredient distributor Barentz has appointed Gustavo Levy Dosualdo as its regional CEO for South America, effective 3 February. Based in São Paulo, Brazil,


Dosualdo will succeed Elzo Tovani Benzaquen, who will take on a new role at Barentz after contributing significantly to the company’s regional expansion in recent years. Dosualdo brings over 20 years of


experience in specialty ingredients, with a distinguished career at MCassab, where he most recently served as Director for the Life Sciences and Industrial Chemistry Divisions. His leadership has driven


innovation and growth across diverse markets, including human nutrition, pharmaceuticals,


cosmetics, and performance chemicals. Barentz entered South America


in 2018 with the acquisition of Tovani Benzaquen. Since then, it has expanded to now cover eight countries, serving more than 3000 customers across Human Nutrition, Pharma, Personal Care, Animal Nutrition and Performance Materials. Kees Schepers, executive board


member for South America, APAC, and Formulated Solution Centers at Barentz, said: “I am thrilled to welcome Gustavo to the Barentz leadership team. “His strong leadership skills,


extensive market knowledge, and commitment to excellence will be instrumental in driving Barentz South America to new heights.”

Barentz has expanded a distribution partnership with Taiwanese personal care ingredient maker Corum to Malaysia and Singapore. Effective immediately, the


Dutch firm will distribute Corum’s advanced portfolio of anti-ageing peptides, protective vitamin C derivatives, cooling agents, and actives for anti-dandruff, anti-hair loss, and anti-acne solutions in the two SE Asian nations. The agreement builds on


a successful collaboration for personal care ingredients in the US and Canada.

Eurofragance has appointed its first ever master perfumers to underline their experience and talent within the Spanish fragrance house. Olaf Larsen, Belén Garcia and
