www.intelex.co.uk From the launch of the original and bestselling Hot Pak worldwide in 1995, the Intelex portfolio has grown to include dozens of new creations including fully warmable plush toys like Hooty, Socky Dolls and Warmhearts Ragdolls as well as popular new licensed ranges YooHoo and Friends, Boofl e, Gromit and Bagpuss.


2014 will be another bumper


year for Intelex, with a number of new ranges to be added to the collection. Socky Dolls has been a hit since its launch in the Summer of 2012. With the addition of Curtis and Bellamy to the Socky Dolls family in 2013, Intelex is planning to introduce more of the bed warmers in 2014. The Hooty owl range has proven a versatile and popular seller. 2013 saw the introduction of Hooty screen cleaners and the Hooty Friends collection. Intelex has a number of new Hooty lines to unveil for 2014. Intelex will also be welcoming a new branded licensed character in 2014. There are also plans to introduce several more YooHoo products, and a new crafty character will join the Intelex portfolio during the course of 2014.

Science4you’s toys allow children to learn while experimenting, while the books, which accompany almost all of the products, provide accessible and detailed scientifi c content. In Portugal and Spain, products include free tickets to science museums for added scientifi c learning. In 2013, Science4you signed a licence agreement with the University of Oxford to


develop and market a range of seven co-branded scientifi c kits. The range will be available in February 2014 and includes Plants, Volcano, Chemistry 1000 set, DNA Detective, Solar Car, Excavations T-Rex and Stegosaurus. Further products will be developed in partnership with Oxford for distribution across Europe over the length of the three year contract. February 2014 will see the release of Tab4you, a seven-inch screen tablet with a 1024x600 screen resolution. It runs on Android Jelly Bean 4.2.2, has a 1.5GHz dual core processor, 1GB of RAM, built-in Wi-Fi and two cameras. Tab4you allows access to a selection of ebooks, games and Science4you educational apps. Micro Dinos will be launched


in February, an online multiplayer game which allows players to learn about dinosaurs in an interactive and educational way. It runs on Android and incorporates NFC-enabled Science4you dinosaur toys, allowing children to browse the physical toy and unlock new digital experiences. The game brings dinosaurs to life on-screen while providing a range of relevant educational information.
