www.bigjigstoys.com 2014 sees the launch of new Bigjigs Rail packaging, designed to provide an engaging in-store presence. Key features include modular box sizes and multiple selling faces to ensure effective merchandising for retailers, distinctive graphical features including safety symbols, and much more. The range of Bigjigs Rail rolling stock has been completely re-designed to allow a full 360° view via a clear PET clam shell. The company has also devised two new merchandising units including a 2’ free-standing cardboard display unit, and a re-designed 4’ free standing wooden display unit. The re-brand also sees the introduction of rail-based characters who can be found on the packaging and will be used to develop consumer marketing initiatives. Bigjigs Toys will also be showcasing a number of new products and re-designs, including additions to Bigjigs Rail, Bigjigs Baby, Cooking & Roleplay and Puzzle ranges. The City Train Set and Table has been added to the collection. The extensive train set features a bustling city scene with high rise buildings, a heli-pad, bridges and metro-style train. Bigjigs has also added the Rocket Train Set to its collection which is focused around Stephenson’s Rocket. After huge success with the pink Bigjigs
Rail lines, the company has added several accessories to keep the pink theme including a decorative tunnel, bridge, double engine shed and expansion pack; all perfect for adding to existing train railway systems. Adding to the puzzle collection are eight
decorative wooden 48-piece puzzles, each hand cut. Each puzzle has a decorative scene and comes in a number of themes including Ballet School, Enchanted Fairies, Picnic in the Park and Once Upon a Time. The other four puzzles include licensed locomotives from the Bigjigs Rail range including the Mallard, the Rocket, Flying Scotsman and the Duchess of Hamilton. New items have been added to the
Cooking & Roleplay range including a re-design of the Food Display Stand and some of the foods. Bigjigs has also introduced several roleplay toys to compliment the food items including a shopping trolley, a set of scales, and a newly designed shop till, complete with money, credit cards and scanner. Also new for 2014 is a cake stand with a range of cakes. Bigjigs Baby products have also had a
makeover; each one has been re-designed with new colours and fi t within modular packaging to ensure the merchandising process is simpler.
