Featuring a new style and a hole in the middle, this product adds another dimension to the traditional Rubik’s puzzle. Joining the kids’ Action Games category is Pig Out, the game where being a greedy pig wins. The Word Game is also a new addition, where players must name it, press it and pass it in order to win. The fast and furious Split Second, where you need to beat your competitors to the correct answer, joins the Family Games collection offering hours of family fun. All will be supported by integrated TV and digital advertising campaigns. As seen on Dragon’s Den, Linkee, the successful crowd sourced Trivia game also becomes part of the John Adam’s games range. Complete with refreshed packaging and new questions, the set includes some special celebrity cards written by well-known names. John Adams is adding to its craft portfolio with two new licences for 2014. The popular Tatty Teddy and My Blue Nose Friends offering will include Sparkly Jewellery, Felt Keyrings and a character version of the Make A Bear kit. Disney’s Doc McStuffi ns joins the Fuzzy Felt collection with a set that comes complete with 100 printed pieces and ideas leafl et. These new additions will accompany the existing craft ranges at the Fair including Disney Princess and Minnie Mouse, which also have new offerings including Minnie Mosaics, Minnie Jelly Stickers and Disney Princess Glitter Mosaics. The company will also unveil an extensive new range of craft products at the London Toy Fair. Aimed at girls aged seven years and up, the range is a unique mix of traditional favourites and contemporary themes and will be available later in the year. Well known for its Gross Science collection, which offers gross activities with an educational twist, John Adams will be adding to its science range with Silly Science for Pranksters out in May. Designed to teach kids important facts about science whilst laughing out loud, the set includes 10 scientifi c pranks to play on friends and family.

The 2014 re-launch of K’Nex in the UK is underpinned by a focus on the building system’s unique qualities, from open-ended creativity to its ability to quickly build large scale constructions that are extremely robust. The product offering, including classic tubs treasure chests and Thrill Rides building sets, will be supported by the strongest 360 degree marketing programme ever seen for K’Nex in the UK. The new campaign will feature heavyweight TV, print and PR activity along with innovative partnerships. 2014 marks the 20th anniversary of K’Nex in the UK. Among the line-up
at Toy Fair are the new 35 Model and 70 Model Building Sets along with the new 52 Model Building Set tub, all of which are set to feature in the new TV campaign. K’Nex themed building sets will also include the Transport Chopper and 4 Wheel Drive Building Sets, each with over 300 pieces, motors and lights. The popular K’Nex Thrill Rides collection is a must-have for the coming
year. Demonstrating a strong track record of success, the K’Nex Thrill Rides collection offers the chance to recreate the fun of amusement parks with realistic-looking, large-scale theme park rides at a range of price points. Among the highlights at Toy Fair are TV driver, Typhoon Frenzy Roller Coaster Building Set, with 641 pieces that combine to propel the car around 19 feet of track, and the Supernova Blast Roller Coaster Building Set, with blasting launcher to shoot the car around the track. The award-winning Tinkertoy pre-school construction system is also new for the UK in 2014, bringing young building fans colourful plastic spools and rods that snap together and stay together. The hugely successful K’Nex Education range is also a new category launch at Toy Fair; this will be made available for retail sale for the fi rst time in 2014. Hot licences are also high on the agenda at K’Nex with the recently announced Plants Vs. Zombies range making its fi rst appearance at Toy Fair. A key product in the collection is the Mummy Zombie Swarm Building Set which recreates ancient Egyptian antics with motorised action refl ecting the exciting gameplay from the video game.
