01760 721 390 | www.ksgcrafts.com Sequin Art will introduce new characters to its growing range of creative craft kits at the London Toy Fair. Look out for Heidi Hippo, Jack Dolphin, Sidney Snake, Dexter Dinosaur and Suzy Seal in the Sequin Art Red range, which allows younger users to create simplifi ed versions of popular pictures. The introduction of the Sequin Art Red range will see the phasing out of the Junior Sequin Art name in a re-branding aimed at making the quality craft kits even more accessible for youngsters. Sequin Art successfully introduced Hello Kitty last year and she has been joined in the licensed portfolio by Paddington Bear. Later this year the fi lm, Paddington, will be released starring Downton Abbey star Hugh Bonneville, Nicole Kidman, Julie Walters and Colin Firth as the voice of Paddington. Sequin Art has London style: a kit with three separate stunning pictures showing iconic London landmarks by night. One picture features St Paul’s Cathedral, the Shard and BT Tower; a second the London Eye, Nelson’s Column and the Gherkin; and the third, Tower Bridge and Big Ben. There are additions to the 3D Sequin Art range – ornamental mirror balls, hearts and cup cakes – as well as to Laser Sequin Art – cats, lions, parrots and

rabbits. The laser pictures have a holographic effect and a greater shine, which makes the colours stand out even more. Traditional Sequin Art has not been forgotten with sparkly pictures of Ice Cream Sundae and Ice Skates introduced for 2014. Foiltastic Sequin Art, in which crafters peel away self-adhesive foil and then embellish the shapes with sequins is introduced with four designs – baby birds,

butterfl ies, dolphins and princess. The Stardust range is enhanced with the introduction of a horse and a fairy. KSG launched a cinema advert for the fi rst time in 2013 which showed at kids’ clubs in national cinemas, sponsored daytime and weekend programming on

CITV as well as extensive advertising on other channels. A new TV advert is being made along with ‘how to make’ videos which will feature on the Sequin Art website. The company continues to engage with fans through Facebook giving them an opportunity to have a say in how the product develops.

01707 260436 | www.jumbo.eu Wasgij is expanding into the children’s market with the launch of Wasgij Junior No 1. Following the continued success of the adult puzzle range, based on the concept of building an image that is different to that shown on the box, the new Wasgij puzzle specifi cally designed for children is set to take the puzzle market by storm. Wasgij Junior 1: Scrooge’s Surprise (100 pieces) launches in June 2014 and allows younger puzzlers to use their imagination and the clues provided to piece together what they think will happen next in the image printed on the box. Building on the strong heritage and highly addictive Wasgij range, Wasgij

Original 21: Football Fever launches in time for the World Cup 2014. Puzzlers will enjoy piecing together both the image that is shown on the box and the ‘solution’ image of what they think the football player on the TV screen is looking at. Included within the football themed double-pack jigsaw is a free 2014 Wasgij World Cup wall chart, so puzzlers can track the progress of the tournament. To celebrate Peppa Pig’s 10th Anniversary, Jumbo Games will launch the

Giant Muddy Puddles Floor Puzzle and the Peppa Pig Hide and Seek Game in 2014. The Giant Floor Puzzle is an enormous 35-piece shaped jigsaw (100 x 70cm) that features Peppa Pig and her family and friends enjoying themselves as they jump in a huge muddy puddle. Play the Hide and Seek game by placing the Peppa Pig character somewhere inside the house, and then children have to listen carefully for Peppa’s voice to try and fi nd her. Something Special is another strong licence for Jumbo

Games and building on the range the Something Special Bath Time Puzzle launches August 2014. Children can enjoy piecing together Mr Tumble and his friends in the bath as the puzzles fl oat on the water and can be stuck to the bath tub.
