Exhibitor profiles Acme-Hardesty (543), a distributor of specialty ingredients for personal care, is exhibiting a new line of oleosome technologies from Botaneco; a unique line of water-soluble oils and formulation solutions from ResPharma; and a high-performing line of actives, including hyaluronic solutions. Acme-Hardesty has also launched a special

The unique production method produces the highest purity azelaic acid (99%) with low environmental impact. It is then further processed to produce a fine white powder with a particle size of less than 50 microns.
Actichem (721) is offering visitors the chance to discover its ‘in & out’ beauty ingredients from upcycled French vines standardized in natural Resveratrol and its derivatives. Solesphere fine silica gels are environmentally safe, non-nanoparticle, non-plastic, non- petroleum ingredients that enhance the performance of skincare and cosmetics. These microspheres can be used in oil-in-water, water- in-oil and anhydrous formulations to provide UV boost, reduce greasiness and stickiness, minimize pores, absorb oil and perspiration, improve spreadability and provide a matte appearance. Solesphere gels are made from silicon dioxide,
a natural and sustainable material, and they are Ecocert- and COSMOS-certified for safety and sustainability. Most grades are porous, so they naturally reflect light, providing an SPF boost for sunscreen formulations, both chemical (organic) and physical (non-organic).
ALS (604-606) will be on hand to discuss its full-service contract testing services. The California outfit, which has ten beauty and personal Care laboratories between Brazil, USA and Europe, offers analytical chemistry, microbiology, stability, and toxicology studies as a one-stop shop. Alzo International (540) will be showcasing a number of sustainable ingredients from its portfolio of naturally-derived emollients, waxes and polymers. These include Cupl NAT PG-6 (INCI: Polyglyceryl-6 Caprylate (and) Polyglyceryl-6 Dicaprate), a PEG-free, 100% naturally-derived solubilizer for fragrances & oils. Cupl NAT PG-6 is a 100% active, pourable liquid that is suitable for cold-processed formulas. It is also an effective surfactant for micellar waters - with a strong ability to remove long- wear makeup, while increasing skin hydration. Meanwhile, BioMade BB (INCI: Behenyl Behenate) is a versatile, biodegradable, 100% naturally-derived wax for makeup, hair, skin & sun applications. Dermol MBDD is a 100% naturally-derived
polyester derived from upcycled mango seeds and rapeseed oil which adds shine, adhesion and long-wear. Dermol MBDD is biodegradable and in vitro testing confirms that it also increases SPF water resistance in sun care formulations.
BASF (505-507) is inviting visitors to ‘Reimagine Natural’ as it unveils its range of naturally derived, responsibly sourced, and environmentally kind ingredients. The environment and our lifestyle damage our hair every day, altering its major component keratin that ensures hair’s resistance and elasticity. However, most keratin-based ingredients
found in hair treatments are of animal origin. BASF’s Kerasylium hair care ingredient, made from upcycled milk thistle seed cake, provides a plant-based alternative. Its keratin-like peptides can penetrate deeply into the hair fibre, creating a double action that repairs damaged hair and
protects it from daily stress. Additionally, its Verdessence product line
offers a wide range of biopolymer ingredients made from sustainably sourced raw materials. They are COSMOS-approved, biodegradable, biobased solutions that are ideal for hair and skin care applications.
