GANGSTA GRANNY
This has got to be for me, one of the highlights of the year. We took over 80 year students to Bath to watch David Walliam’s Gangsta Granny. The play was filled with jokes and humour that led to laughter and fun whilst simultaneously delivering a really serious message about how we treat our families and older people in society. Our pupils were an absolute delight and really showed the school and parents off in a positive and fantastic manner. Well done year 7.
www.matravers.wilts.sch.uk ATTENDANCE AWARD
The end of term 4 saw our attendance disco, where we celebrated all the students who had at least 98% attendance during term. Students had a great time dancing, jumping and generally enjoying themselves. Students even attempted to teach some of us staff to “floss”, a dance move that appears to have swept the teen world of late, please ask your child to demonstrate for you.
