Drama (continued) WE WILL ROCK YOU


As yet another year bites the dust, the Performing Arts team are delighted to formally announce that the next academic year’s whole school musical is ‘We Will Rock You’. The cast and back stage crew have been working hard since the beginning of Term 6, to ensure that the performances on Tuesday 4th - Friday 7th December are up to the high quality that our sell out audiences are accustomed to. As is always the case, casting was a tough week for the creative team; with so many talented young performers fighting for a principle role, the directors had many a challenging decision to make. We are, however, delighted with the cast we are working with, and have little doubt that audiences will be thoroughly entertained in show week; it already looks as though it really will be a kind of magic. Every show has its own jewel in its crown, and this show’s is the eccentric characters, outrageous comedy and, of course, the legendary music of Queen. Naturally, we don’t want you to feel under pressure to join us in December, however, we guarantee that we will rock you!
