Year 8 (continued)
Tutor awards went to Zoe Joyce, Chloe Meaden, Ellie Johnson, Ben Prudence, Lauren O’Connor and Caitlin Butt. The Pastoral Manager awards went to Poppy Midgeley and Tiffany Chapman, SMT award to Keira Strachan and Sergio Oliveria and the Progress Leader awards went to Jessica Mitchell Collett and Ben Prudence. Well done to everyone involved.
The end of the year will be marked will another rewards trip to Swindon were we will be visiting the leisure centre enjoying the wave machine, the flumes and the slides. This will be once again to reward the pupils that consistently have the right attitude in school and should be rightly praised and the successes celebrated and acknowledged. Mfest will also occur with the usual celebrations and performances on stage as well as another end of year celebration assembly identifying success throughout the year and individual accomplishments. Various inflatable fun activities, bowling, performances on stage and food stalls will all be present.
As you can see by the graph below the year group has another extremely successful year across the board in regards to the school values. This shows the consistency that the year group has applied themselves in their lessons with regular acknowledgement and rewards of showing the school values in their work. I am extremely proud to see this throughout the year culminating in the below data but also on a daily basis and within lessons
All that remains is for me to wish everyone a very safe, enjoyable and relaxing Sumer holidays which is well deserved by all. I look forward to seeing you in September revitalised to take on new and exciting adventures including going through the option process and GCSE choices to name but one aspect. Take Care
