UNIFORM
Dear Parents/Carers Re: School Uniform– September 2018
You will recall that Matravers School has been undertaking consultations with students, staff, parents and the Board of Governors regarding aspects of the school uniform. A decision has been taken by the Board of Governors to introduce new aspects of the school uniform from 1 September 2018.
During the consultation process there was an over- whelming response in favour of introducing new aspects of our uniform.
The Uniform will include the following changes: Prescribed blue-check skirt only for Years 7 -11 Clearly defined style of black trouser to be worn
As indicated during the consultation, there will be no change to the rest of the school uniform. We have included a copy of the updated uniform policy for your reference, to help you ensure that your child is suitably dressed for school.
All prescribed skirts will be supplied by Scholars. Black trousers can be purchased from Scholars or from other chain stores including supermarkets. However, they must conform to our uniform expectations.
