“I chose to be involved in Love Tech because I believe that we have a responsibility to educate and support the next generation to be better than us. I have confidence that diversity and inclusion make for stronger teams and businesses, and therefore Love Tech’s mission of inspiring, empowering and educating girls to be involved with STEM, a field where there is a significant skills shortage, is something that resonated with me from the charity’s inception. I am proud to support our local community through its initiatives.” Jade Zorab, Managing Director, Amber Gaming

“As a passionate supporter of diversity and inclusion I have previously launched and ran a global gender initiative program. Being based on the Isle of Man I was delighted to hear about Love Tech being formed and excited to become a part of the journey. An important part of the Island’s continued success is its ability to up-skill the workforce for a digital world, Love Tech plays a part in this.

evening course in conjunction with Techmums - who runs programs and initiatives designed to support mothers becoming more familiar, confident, and excited about the use of technology in their personal, professional, and parenting lives.”

To date, Love Tech has relied on the generous support from the local business community to fund its packed programme of events.

Many of the sponsors have not only contributed financially but have also supported Love Tech by attending and taking tickets for corporate fund-raising events, encouraging their employees to bring their children to events and helped to further raise the charity’s profile.

Organisations to have contributed to the charity include Annexio, Appleby, Te Stars Group, Continent 8 Technologies, GameOn, IT Works, Digital Isle of Man, PWC, Manx Telecom, Suntera Global, PDMS, Manx Marketing Exchange, Microgaming, Barclays Eagle Lab and Isle of Man Government – Department For Enterprise. “Anyone that we've engaged with has been happy to contribute and wanted to help this great committee cause.”

“There is no denying that there is a diversity issue in tech – at all levels. Sharing experience and knowledge can lead to greater understanding and real change. Inspiring and empowering girls in STEM, whilst they are considering career choices particularly, is fulfilling work which I enjoy. Whist the committee members are all busy people with senior roles, by dedicating our time to Love Tech I feel we are really making a difference and that is very rewarding.” Donna Crellin, Managing Director, DCC Ltd
