What were the main technological challenges you faced bringing concept to reality?


Te tech challenges involved can be broken down into two main aspects. Te first issue is associated with high-speed video rendering. Never before has video been able to be rendered with less than a second delay; live dealer tables are four-five seconds and television can be up to seven seconds delay, so for us, getting the speed of communication to its maximum capacity was a massive challenge and a key objective. We recognised the impact a time delay can have on a customer’s gameplay, especially with real money betting, it can take


the competitive edge off. Tis is why it was so important for us to make low latency a primary focus of our product’s development.


Communication with the machine was another major technological challenge that we had to overcome. In the market there are already existing ways of communicating with a slots machine, but none of them are as dependent on financial cycles and reporting in real time as our product offering. Added to these capabilities is the additional complexity of being compliant with the regulators framework and integrating it into a range of betting systems and online wallets.

In Europe, online is very popular but in North America this is still seen as a relatively knew concept. Tis causes customers to be hesitant about using some online platforms.
