We have rolled this out with six schools and our plan is to try and widen this where possible, with the pandemic limiting us somewhat this year.


“We have also introduced a STEM badge with the support of the local brownies groups and this has also enabled us to access a larger number of young girls. To earn the badge the children undertake a range of task from each STEM area.


“My aim is for Love Tech to continue to inspire long into the future with help of the next generation of committee members being grown from our current investment with Brownies, Girl Guides and schools.


“One of the challenges we face is getting the message out to parents and children and we are really hoping to grow the school programme. We also want to try to attract an older age bracket – as currently our average ag Group is aged between eight and 13. We aim to do this via graduate and careers conventions as well as a number of events specifically targeting the interest of teens such as coding days.
