Honeybee Hive. The toy range is expanding following the launch of the interactive electronic plush Buzzbee at Christmas, and in 2013 comes the Supersize Buzzbee. Additionally 2013 will see the arrival of innovative and interactive playsets: The Hive, Honeydew School, Playground and character sets. With the TV series proving a hit with 4-7 year
olds, stories focus on family life and the ‘thick and thin’ of living together; within each episode, the main character Buzzbee’s experiences lead him to learn something new through an emotional journey in an educational and fun way.
Tickety Toc launched on-air, internationally, in April 2012 and is going from strength to strength. In addition to having Nick as a global partner, it has new broadcast partners in Milkshake, Disney Canada and France 5. Zodiak has signed up Vivid Imaginations as the master toy licensee. Vivid holds distribution rights for UK and Eire, France, Germany, Iberia, Benelux, and Nordics, in addition to global manufacturing rights outside North America, Japan and Korea. Zodiak is set to launch toy product in key
territories such as the UK, US, Canada, Australia, France and Benelux from AW13. Zodiak’s master toy partners are developing
their Tickety Toc lines at present and are collaborating on key elements of the toy line which includes the hero item; the Clockhouse Playset. Featuring Tommy and Tallulah, this interactive playset will allow children to recreate the world of Tickety Toc in their own homes, playing out their favourite show and the all-important ‘Chime Time’. This launch item has good play value for pre-schoolers with features such as music and sound effects, gears, slide and moving clock hands. In addition to the Clockhouse playset, licensees
are responding to retail demand to develop a full toy line including basic and talking plush skus, collectable figures, vehicles, puzzles and games focusing particularly on comedic twins Tommy and Tallulah and puppy-dog train Pufferty. Vivid Imaginations will be putting a full TV and PR campaign behind the line featuring the Clockhouse Playset as the main TV driver.
